INDEPENDENCE DAY
Following multiple years where weather scrubbed the landing of the Good Samaritan AirCare helicopter in Rockville, this Fourth of July, the air ambulance was able to touch down.
On Saturday, the Sherman County community’s annual Fourth of July celebration was made even more special as the Bell 407 helicopter landed on the patch of grass just south of the Rockville Gymnasium. The helicopter’s touchdown was just one part of the community’s day of festivities to celebrate America’s semisesquicentennial.
