The Sherman County Senior Center is now an independent organization. The center was started thirty years ago by Central Nebraska Community Services. The new board of directors are president Alicia Toczek, treasurer Wayne Klein, secretary Jerome Lobner, Milt Walrath, Jerry Sloggett and Sherman County Board member Tom Bandur. Denise Holcomb is the center director.
