State supreme court to make stop in county

State supreme court to make stop in county Monday event part of court's 2026 summer tour

The Nebraska Supreme Court will make a stop in Sherman County next week as part of its annual Summer Tour, a statewide initiative designed to connect the state’s highest court with the people and trial courts that make up Nebraska’s judicial system.

The three-day tour, scheduled for August 10th through 12th, will take the court more than 600 miles to visit sixteen county courthouses across central and north central Nebraska. In addition to touring courthouses, the justices will meet with local judges, court staff, county officials, attorneys, and community leaders to learn about local initiatives and discuss the needs of the state’s trial courts.
