Well, it now appears that we will have a third, substantial candidate on the ballot to become the next governor.
Last week, former Nebraska State Senator Brett Lindstrom submitted more than enough signatures to join Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen and former State Senator Lynne Walz in the race for the governor’s mansion.
It’s an odd (and late) time to join the race, and Lindstrom took an unusual path to get into the race.
