Have you heard of Robert Young? How about Robert Tutton Young? He was reportedly the first white child born in Sherman County. The date of his birth was August 25, 1876; he died October 7, 1962, at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Loup City. Tutton seems like an unusual middle name, but according to his obituary this was a tribute to the attending pioneer physician, Dr.
