I am going to be completely honest, I have no idea how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, but boy have I tried to keep count.
When you go to as many parades as I do each year, and add in a couple of different Halloween events in the fall and egg hunts in the spring, there are enough free tootsie pops floating around in the pockets of my coats that I should have a pretty good idea about what it takes to get to the center of one of the sweet treats.
