American Legion Burrowes Post #48 celebrated their annual birthday supper on April 26th. This commemorates the 105th anniversary of the nation-wide American Legion organization as well as Loup City’s Post. American Legion Burrowes Post No. 48 was organized September 8, 1919 and named for John Boyd Burrowes, Loup City’s first casualty in the World War I.
