The Sherman County Board of Commissioners will meet in regular session at 9:00a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the Boardroom located on the second floor of the Sherman County Courthouse, in Loup City, Nebraska. The agenda of this meeting is kept continuously current and is posted in the office of the Sherman County Clerk for public inspection. Except for items of an emergency nature, the agenda shall not be enlarged later than twenty-four hours before the scheduled commencement of the meeting.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING/REGULAR MEETING
SHERMAN COUNTY-COMMUNITY PLANNING COMMISSION
The Sherman County-Community Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sherman County Community Center located at 803 O Street, Loup City, Nebraska.
The purpose of holding the hearing is to hear testimony regarding an application to subdivide a tract of land in part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of (SW¼ SE ¼) of Section 18, Township-13-North, and Range-15-West of the Sixth (6th) Principal Meridian Village of Hazard, Sherman County Nebraska, hereby known as the Trotter-Larson Subdivision, Sherman County, Nebraska. The property owner is proposing to subdivide the above referenced tract of land of 7.04 acres more or less to an individual to establish a site for a service business.
All in attendance will be given the opportunity to be heard. Any written opinions or comments may be submitted prior to twenty-four (24) hours before the time of the hearing to: Sherman County Road Department, Attn: Zoning Administrator, 47584 Hwy 92, Loup City, NE 68853.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that The Dukes Bar and Grill LLC, has applied for a Class IB License for the business known as “The Dukes Bar and Grill”, Hazard, Nebraska, to wit:
Lots 11 through 18, Block 10, Original Town of Hazard, Sherman County, NE.
The Hazard Village Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing concerning the issuance of said license on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the Hazard Village Hall, 416 Market Street, Hazard, NE.

A monthly meeting of the executive board of the Board of Directors of the Loup Central Landfill Association will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Elba Community Hall, 519 12th Street, Elba, Nebraska 68853. An agenda, which is kept continually correct, can be viewed during normal business hours at the landfill site.
