More than just a motto

If you would allow me to humble brag for a moment, I feel like it is important to point out that, even decades after having been promoted out of the fourth grade, I still know the Nebraska state song.

Thank you, Mr. Koehler. After leaving the fourth grade, you wouldn’t think that there would really be much need to know the lyrics to such an obscure song. After all, most of the people that call the Cornhusker State home have a general idea of how beautiful the state truly is. Because of this, they don’t necessarily have to spend loads of time singing “Beautiful Nebraska” to remind themselves.
