In its eleventh year, the Central Nebraska Walk of Hope—an event with strong ties to Sherman County—will be moving to St. Paul. The annual walk for Huntington’s Disease awareness will take place on Saturday, June 21st, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sts. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Parish Life Center, located at 773 Elm Street in that city. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m., with a twomile walk around town starting at approximately 11:00.
Raffles and a live auction will follow. Doug Day of Day Realty will serve as auctioneer.
The event will raise funds to support Huntington’s research. Donations for raffle items will be accepted until the day of the event.
