4-H is more than ribbons

For the 4-H’ers who are spending countless hours working on their projects throughout the year, the rapidly approaching county fair is a time filled with excitement. All of the hours spent will be showcased during the week for fairgoers to see and appreciate. Not only is this a time of anticipation as the projects near completion, but because the fair provides opportunities outside the exhibit itself.

Many 4-H’ers treasure this week; as it is a time when they can reconnect with friends from other communities who share the same interests they do and do not otherwise have the opportunity to interact with. This is a time to celebrate with each other and to build camaraderie among club members as well as with other clubs.
