City, community leaders discuss community needs, communication during meeting
Loup City leaders and community stakeholders had the chance to get a look at the results of the recent Community Needs Survey during a special town hall-style event that took place last week.
Around twenty-five people attended the event last Wednesday night, which was hosted by the Sherman County Economic Development Corporation at the Loup City Community Center. During the town hall, Sherman County Economic Development Executive Director Melissa Dush provided those present with an overview of the survey’s results, with Nebraska Department of Economic Development Central Nebraska Field Rep Kelly Gewecke facilitating a discussion about potential next steps to address issues identified by the survey.
