Two new signs are currently in the process of being installed in Loup City, courtesy of Sherman County Economic Development, Inc. (SCED)—which is leading the project— and a grant from the Sherman County Tourism Committee.
“This is one of those projects that we have been looking to do for a while,” said SCED Executive Director Melissa Dush during an interview last week.
The current undertaking, part of a longer- running effort to revitalize area signage, involves updates to signs near the Trotter’s grain elevator and the Sherman County Historical Society (SCHS).
