Moles are fascinating little creatures. They “swim” through the soil using their strong front feet and have very poor eyesight. These solitary animals live in underground burrows and are rarely seen above ground. Unlike some pests, moles don’t hibernate—they remain active year-round, making them a potential nuisance in any season.
