This year the Junk Jaunt will take place from Friday until Sunday, September 26th until September 28th.
After twenty-one years, it never ceases to amaze the 20,000-plus Jaunters how much “stuff” is still here in mid-Nebraska! It has also become a social event; Some families not only sell, but family buyers have contests, scavenger hunts, and get-togethers. This year the Junk Jaunt itself will host a scavenger hunt with prizes, including free Shoppers Guides for the next year.
Many in Loup City have recently completed sales in the citywide yard sale event over the Fourth of July weekend. Between that, and just after Polish Days, it may seem early to talk about an event occurring in September, but there is a big deadline approaching. Don’t get caught short!
