When she is not waiting tables or watching over swimmers at the municipal pool, Sherman County Economic Development (SCED) Summer Intern Aleia Friesen is helping the county economic development corporation shape its public profile.

“I love it,” said the recent graduate of Loup City Public Schools (LCPS) of the internship. “I think it is one of my favorite jobs that I’ve ever had.”

Friesen, who has lived in the county seat her “entire life,” is in the middle of her second summer as an intern at SCED, Inc., where she primarily aids the organization in producing promotional materials.
