Phase one of Loup City to Arcadia transmission line project to begin in September
Loup Valleys Rural Public Power District (RPPD) is hoping to begin the first phase of a multi-million-dollar infrastructure project later this year, one aimed at modernizing and increasing the reliability of its transmission network.
The project will begin with phase one of the RPPD’s Loup City to Arcadia Transmission Line project this September, spurred on by the receipt of a Powering Affordable Clean Energy (PACE) grant that the RPPD had written for in around 2023.
