ROCKVILLE RESIDENT WINS LLNRD PHOTO CONTEST

LOWER LOUP NATURAL RESOURCES DISTRICT

A Rockville-area resident and inductee into the Loup City Public School (LCPS) Wall of Fame took home both first and third place in the 2025 Lower Loup Natural Resources District (LLNRD) Photo Contest.

Lawrence Burman won first place for his image of a deep blue, cloud-streaked sky reflected in a Middle Loup River slough in rural Sherman County; he won third place in the contest for his close-up photograph of a bee hovering over a poppy.
