Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol stopped over 1,800 drivers for speeding during a national effort focused on roadway safety in July.
The Speeding Catches Up With You campaign ran from July 14th through July 31st. During the effort, troopers made 1,806 traffic stops for speeding, including sixty-two for drivers speeding at over 100 miles per hour.
Troopers also arrested sixty-five people for driving impaired.
