Last Friday on Bud Owens Field for their home debut, the Arcadia/ Loup City Rebels notched their second consecutive win of the season when they bested Southern Valley in a shootout 48-38.
Powered by a standout rushing performance from Ryan Kaslon, the Red and Black marched down the field on their opening drive and punched it into the end zone on a short run from Kaslon. After a successful twopoint attempt by freshman Justin Conner, the Rebels took a quick 8-0 advantage.
That one-score lead would grow to two early in the second quarter when Kaslon found paydirt again for his second touchdown of the ballgame.
