Spartans fall to Raiders

The Ansley-Litchfield football team put together their best offensive performance of the season last Friday but, despite that increase in scoring, suffered their third loss of the season when they fell to Medicine Valley 42-28.

Both teams traded blows in the early goings and all that separated the two squads was a two-point conversion. After scoring a touchdown apiece, the Raiders went into the second quarter holding onto a slim 8-7 advantage.

Ansley-Litchfield matched that scoring output in the following frame, but Medicine Valley put twelve more points on the board to take a 20-14 lead at the intermission.
