ANSLEY/LITCHFIELD VOLLEYBALL
Last Tuesday, the Ansley-Litchfield volleyball team moved up a pair of spots in the Class D-1 rankings, but the Spartans didn’t have much time to celebrate.
Just hours after becoming the thirdranked team in the class, the Sherman County kids put their 11-1 record on the line when they traveled to Greeley to compete at the Central Valley Triangular. At the Cougars’ event, the Spartans ended up getting swept by the hosts, but rebounded later in the evening to top Arcadia/Loup City in two sets.
