It wasn’t perfect, but last week, the Arcadia/ Loup City Rebels improved their record to 5-0 on the football field by slipping past Pleasanton 50-45 in a hard fought game on the gridiron in Loup City.
Last week, the Rebels made their intentions known early and often: Arcadia/Loup City wanted to pound the rock.
The Rebels rushed for 452 yards opposite the Bulldogs. Helping power Arcadia/Loup City’s offense was Tyce Calleroz, who toted the rock twenty-two times for 230 yards and four touchdowns. Ryan Kaslon had double-digit carries as well last week. The senior registered thirteen touches for 106 yards while Joseph Ducker managed to record 103 yards on nine touches. Ducker accounted for Arcadia/ Loup City’s other three scores Brogan Setlik, Eli Jaixen, and Justin Conner all had carries as well last week.
