Applications available for Anytime Give match program

The Sherman County Community Foundation is once again cultivating partnerships with nonprofit organizations in Sherman County through its Anytime Give matching grant program.

Applications will be accepted now through December 31, 2025 for the grant program. Nonprofits are encouraged to apply on the foundation’s website at http://shercofoundation. org, or by requesting an application by phone or email at (308) 745-5477 or [email protected].

Each applicant must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizing one or more fundraisers for a project it is working on in 2026, in which additional matching funds would be needed to complete the project. Since its origination six years ago, the foundation has invested more than $100,000 in matching funds to nonprofits for a variety of projects intended to improve their communities. Organizations that have been awarded Anytime Give grants in the past include the Loup City Fire Department, Sherman County Senior Center, and the Litchfield and Ashton community clubs. This year, Anytime Give grants helped fund renovations in the VFW Hall on the Sherman County Fairgrounds, fire safety masks for Loup City firefighters, a new dishwasher in the county senior center, a freezer for the Polish Heritage Center in Ashton, and athletic equipment at the Loup City High School.
