Rebels drop a pair of games during last week

Since picking up back-toback wins in late December, the Arcadia/Loup City girls saw their losing streak extended to five games last week after suffering a pair of losses to Shelton and Riverside on Tuesday and Thursday.

On the home court, the Rebels matched the Bulldogs shot-for-shot in the opening quarter, entering the second knotted at 7-7. Arcadia/Loup City then hit an offensive lull in the second stanza and went into the halftime break trailing 15-10.

Shelton would outpace the Rebels 25-15 over the course of the final sixteen minutes, resulting in a 40-25 loss for the home team.
