ARCADIA/LOUP CITY GIRLS BASKETBALL
A pair of double-digit scoring performances and a strong defensive outing helped the Arcadia/ Loup City Rebels snap a three-game losing skid last Friday as the Red and Black grinded their way past Burwell on the Longhorns’ home court, 39-27.
Led on offense by Brianna Lueck and Hadley Rademacher, the Rebels built 12-8 lead throughout the opening period, then held the home team to just two points in the second quarter, increasing that advantage to 21-10 at the intermission.
