The Ansley-Litchfield Spartans ended their season on the mats at Elm Creek High School last week.
Two Spartans—Kolten Clay and Owen Brott—both represented Ansley-Litchfield at the District D-2 Tournament. Clay won one match at the meet, while Brott made an early exit from the consolation bracket.
At 126, Clay opened the tournament by being pinned in forty-one seconds by Silas Sedlacek of Southern. After that loss, the Spartan rebounded to take a 15-3 major decision from Southern Valley’s Carson Hamilton, allowing the senior to compete during Saturday’s portion of the tournament.
