A MESSAGE OF FAITH
Love is more than a passing emotion. It is a steady, faithful choice that shapes how we live each day. In a world marked by division, haste, and distraction, God’s Word calls us back to what matters most. When Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment, He answered in Gospel of Matthew that we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind—and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37–39). Love is not a suggestion; it is the foundation of a life that honors God.
This love is not reserved for grand gestures. It is revealed in ordinary moments: a patient response to a difficult coworker, compassion toward a struggling friend, forgiveness extended within our families. The apostle Paul writes in First Corinthians that without love, even the most impressive acts of faith amount to nothing (1 Corinthians 13:1–3). He describes love as patient and kind, not envious or boastful, not easily angered, and keeping no record of wrongs. Such love has the power to transform relationships and soften hardened hearts.
