This February, the historic Arcadia Township Library received a gift of 10,000 dollars for its continued dedication to the spirit and values of industrialist and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie.

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Carnegie Foundation is sending out $10,000 checks to Carnegie libraries across the nation this year, part of a twenty- million-dollar giving initiative.
