Black Hills continues Funds for Firefighters

Volunteer firefighters are essential to the safety and resilience of rural communities. For the second consecutive year, the Black Hills Corporation Foundation is proud to honor and support these vital community members.

Last year, the Funds for Firefighters program awarded sixty- three grants totaling $135,000 to fifty-nine volunteer fire departments across the communities served by Black Hills Energy.

This year, $140,000 in grant funding is available, with the goal of reaching additional departments that could not be supported previously.
