The Nebraska Library Association (NLA) announced last week that Lillian Kaslon has been recognized as a 2026 Outstanding Volunteer Award winner for their service at Loup City Public Library.
Kaslon was nominated by Audrey Heil, library director at Loup City Public Library. In their nomination, Heil wrote, “Lillian makes sure the books spend very little time on the cart and more time on the shelves so they are available for check out.
Sometimes kids will ask her questions and they always comment on how nice she is.
