The Sherman County GOP will host the Sherman County Republican Convention on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Loup City Community Center. All registered delegates are invited to attend.
A forum of candidates for local offices are invited to participate in a candidate forum at 7:00 p.m. on March 24th following the GOP convention.
This forum will allow candidates who have filed to run for any local office a chance to present to the residents and answer questions about their candidacy. Those candidates include persons who have filed to run for city council, mayor, county commissioner, and other county offices such as clerk, treasurer, county attorney, and assessor. The party encourages the candidates and the public to attend so that voters can make educated decisions at the polls in the Primary Election on May 12th.
