The Sherman County Times won multiple awards at the Nebraska Press Association’s 153rd Annual Convention.

On Saturday, April 18th, during the final banquet of the three-day convention held at the Cornhusker Marriot in downtown Lincoln, the Times won eight awards— two of which were first-place awards—during the association’s Better Newspaper Contest.

The Times competes in Division B of the five-division contest. Newspapers are classified according to their circulation and publication schedule. Division A is the smallest; Division D is the largest weekly category.
