The Nebraska Board of State Canvassers convened on Monday to canvass and certify the results of the May 12, 2026, statewide primary election. The board reviewed the election results, did not identify any automatic recounts for statewide races, and unanimously certified the election.
The Nebraska Board of State Canvassers is composed of Governor Jim Pillen, Secretary of State Bob Evnen, Attorney General Mike Hilgers, State Treasurer Joey Spellerberg and Auditor of Public Accounts Mike Foley. The board is required by law to certify the 2026 primary election results following the election.
