Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Loup City with Pastor Delmar Unruh officiating.
Mariam Kuhn will be the pianist.
Congregational hymns will include “Mansion Over The Hilltop” and “What A Day That Will Be. “
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Kuhn, Chris Carlsen, Lee Kuhn, Brett Kuhn, Trenton Kuhn, Travis Kuhn, Ethan Kuhn, and Lucas Kuhn.
Honorary Pallbearer, Joshua Kuhn Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Loup City. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Higgins Funeral Home in Loup City. Memorials are suggested to Ethnos 360, where her grandson, Joshua Kuhn, works as a missionary to Brazil.

Carol was born on August 31, 1932 in rural Sherman County, the daughter of Chris and Mary Alice (Johnson) Jensen. Carol grew up in Loup City, graduating from Loup City High School in 1950.
Carol was united in marriage to Ronald R.
Kuhn on February 15, 1953, at the First Baptist Church in Loup City. The couple lived in Sherman County and were blessed with six children.
Carol worked as a mother, homemaker, and babysitter for numerous children she considered part of her family. She also worked at the Sherman County Courthouse and at Bullet Weights.
Carol had a passion for family gatherings, vacations in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and church activities. She shared her strong faith with everyone she could.
Carol is survived by children, Linda S. Kuhn of Loup City, Daniel L. and Miriam Kuhn of Greenwood, Scott A. and Emma Kuhn of Ellsworth, and James D. and Tracy Kuhn of Grand Island; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David R.
Kuhn; daughter, Kathryn A. Carlsen; sisters, Janet Mostek of Creston, Iowa and Bette Landon of Loup City; and twin grandsons, David and Dallas Carlsen.
