Cremation has been held.

Celebration of Life services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Loup City Community Building.

Military honors will follow the service outside the community building. Visitation will be one hour before service time. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Friends of Paplin, PoW/MiA, or National Center for Missing and Exploited Children ( NCEMEC) Higgins Funeral Home in Loup City is in charge of arrangements.
